+1 With a good motor and good servos the st-1 is pretty fast. I raced all season with it and in the end got pretty fast with it. With the steering mod it can out turn my rc8t easily. Upgrade the st-1 and wait till next year for the HB d8t would be your best bet. I get the impression you want a cheaper kit and the HB should be if it takes after the d8 buggy.
