Thanx. That all makes sense. Only my second gasser. First one I sold after I realized it wasn't big enough for my Cap. 40cc. Wanted a little more oomph. Manual says not to do these adjustments while engine is running? If I have another person that's not an issue right? I can turn the screws a tad at a time while it's running? Also.. Manual says it should get 6700-7200 rpm. So what should I be shooting for? 6700 or 7200!? Then backing off 100-200. Thanx.
You can safely adjust the needles when the engine is running w/o cowling. Tune for max rpm on a 22x8 break-in prop and back off 100-200rpm or open HS 1/16.
