you can go to a hobby place or craft place like micheals and get some hobby quality and sized plywood or balsa. I smashed my fuselage up a bit and turned the ply to pulp so I cut the section out and replaced it with fresh ply. try it! just trace the old ply if you can get it close to the original shape.
