I never remove the muffler pressure line. The muffler is not very restrictive so I do not think it interferes with venting when fueling or defueling. You can use fuel dots with two line systems or three line systems. I use three lines on my Corsair. Nothing else I own has a cowl so they just get fueled through the carb line.
