RE: Can anyone identify this boat?
Where have I been, hmmmm.......
I've gotten side tracked by another hobby [&o] I've been bitten by the scale crawler bug. I check back here now and then.
The Green Boat over it's life has become a test bed for motors, gearboxes and props. It's kind of a work in progress to see what works best. The battery was originally a 6V4A SLA that sat in the center and now there are 2-6V3A SLA's, one on either side. The reason for this was to add an interior to the boat which I still have yet to do. I will try and get some more pictures of it for you once I find the cameras cable, my daughter thinks it's hers and swears she doesn't have it.
Some future ideas include an outboard motor and a jet drive equiped boat. If I could find an inboard/outboard drive real cheap I'd use it also. The last Regatta I had an inspiration to take the red flake one and turn it into a fire/rescue boat with a set of flashing cherries on top.
