Shortman, Look at the fuselage pic above. The two wire connection is the rudder. The 4 wire connection is the elevator. All 4 wires come together inside the fuse near the wing. The wires work just as a pushrod works with a servo mounted upright. As long as there isnt a severe bend in them, they move according to the geometry of the motion of the servo. Just look at it as a rudder p/p on its side at the surface, and normal at the servo. There is absolutely no slop in this arrangement, and it does allow you the ability to still have some elevator control in the event of one wire breaking. The 4 wire method only works on split elevators. It would be overkill to have it on a single surface elevator.
