after sandblasting all the motor/head/casing parts, i started to clean them up. with a scotchbrite wheel on a buffer, i cleaned up the block fins, then washed/blew out the block.......

i then tackled the tattered head. it has seen pavement in it's lifetime, but i ground it down the best i could, reshaped the outer profile a bit, to hide the road rash. i think it came out pretty well, considering what i started with! all of this was done on the buffer, with the scotchbrite wheel..........
