So there it is.....
Now I get it. There's obviously some kind of 'negative' value to being made in Asia. Especially, if one of your battle cries has long been how lousy it is to manufacture jet kits over there. Trust me, I've 'taken one for the team' on many, many occasions, due to selling Asian-made products. Everything from cheap-shots from Reps to guilt-trips about perpetuating slavery, all right here on RCU!
Now I understand why you have tried to manufacture this curiosity, right here on this thread since the begining.
Now, this isn't directed at you personally, Doug, but what kind of nonsense is it to think that the person who would be buying a product shouldn't ask (or have the right to know) where it's made--especially, if the 'Made in the U.S.A.' sticker is part of the explanation for the pricetag??
Are you claiming false advertising or something? Can someone verify for me that BV still operates in and employs people in Winter Springs FL, USA???
Furthermore, there is no "right to know". You made that up or have lived in CA too long. There is a right to spend your money elsewhere and Im sure thats what this customer would do if he "had" to know or was otherwise compelled to look to alternatives. Ever heard the word proprietary? Where would this right to know stop?
