I have a different question that I'm sure has been answered somewhere back in the 130-some-odd pages of this forum which I don't have time to search for (sure wish RCU would come up with a "search thread" option).
How have you guys installed a smoke system on the stock pipe?
How many minutes run time per oz of fuel? I'm considereing a 16oz tank and 10oz smoke tank.
It's possible to convert the standard muffler to smoke. I've never done it though. Google is your friend.
My DL50 on an MTW RE2 pipe and Vess 23B consumes 1-1/3oz/minute for 3D flight.
Thanks a bunch for the info - that means my 16oz tank will give me about 12 minutes of flight, which is perfect, I'll set the timer for 9-10 minutes. I just may get a bigger tank too, they're only 7 bucks.
