I thought about tapping into the manifold (right by where it bolts on) but it didn't seem like there was quite enough width. I may do that though.

I don't think getting some brass tubing will be too hard. I ordered 3 different sizes of barbed fittings, sure one of them will be the right size to solder some gas tank brass tubing into it. We'll see. I'm about a week away from installing it all (waiting for the mailman), when I do I'll post a pic or two.
