I have used: Belray H1R and MC1, Redline racing oil, Lawnboy ashless, and Pennzoil for air cooled engines. The H1R is cleaner than the MC1, The Redline is as clean or slightly cleaner than H1R. Lawnboy leaves a lot of crap both on the airplane and in the engine. Pennzoil runs great, but also required a needle adjustment when switching from Lawnboy when running at the same mix ratios. Redline or H1R when I've gone through 2-4 gals. of mineral seems to work for me just fine. I have pretty much stayed with 50:1 for synthetic and 32:1 for mineral.
