Default RE: DL-50 engine

hi,

i received my dl 50 last week and fired it up for the break in yesterday. it is my first 50 cc. i dont have a lot of experience with gas (4 months gas and my gas engines have been a crrc 26, a cy clone of the zenoah 26 now the dl 50)

i do not know what ignition was with my crrc, the cy has an excell with ralph's rc xxx sticker (i think it is his. its a little sticker with rc xxx buried in foam on the plane so i cant see the exact number right now. i assume its his authorized ignition identity). the dl 50 came with an ignition in a bag with identical labeling to the excell that came with my cy.

all three of my gas engine planes use the 42 percent opti kill connected to a tx. my first two planes were used with a dx7 and my dl 50 plane i am using a RDS8000.
the crrc and cy ignition battery is a 2500mah 4.8 v. the dl ignition is a 2000 mah 4.8 v but from differant manufacture. a123 rc batt on all 3 planes.

now that i have given detail i have a question if you all do not mind.

when i charge my ignition on the dl plane, i hear a pop in the head. engine starts easy and engine seams to run fine (initial break in cycles per instructions)
i have never heard this pop with my crrc nor my cy. is this nothing to worry about with my mind paying more attention to situational variables with it being a new bigger engine with a new electronic package?
just want to make sure im not harming anything

edit. i just noticed that my reply was applied to the poster above me. this question is for anyone who would know
