turn on the TX and make sure your trottle is down and speed trim down as well. then connect the battery onto the receiver and wait 5 seconds. Your receiver should flashes red few times and stay solid green.

Thanks for the reply Opjose,

I never get a green light and also I never here the servos engaging and there is no response to any of the stick movement. I would think that if the rx is not communicating with the tx, I would at least here the sevos responding at least when I connect the battery. I'm I wrong about that?
