What plane do you have. A 6 1/2 pound 40 size airplane is a heavy airplane for 3D if you want the lightest setup then stay with the 2-56 rods with a Z-bend. Fly it and when it flexs(assuming your flying 3D), then upgrade to a better system. Again, just my opinion.
