Default RE: Mini Buyers Guide

Heres an oldie but a goodie- Tamiya Tamtech Gear series. Cheap on Ebay about $70 RTR. Biggest issue is parts since they are no being discontinued. But at the price of new and used $45 RTR you can afford to buy a couple and they are extremely durable. I'm running a Tekin 5700Kv and 1/10th on-road wheels and tires and no probs. Bigeest issue with that much power is traction. That is my only complaint. With the tires it has as much clearance as my CEN ME16MT. Over 1" maybe an 1" 1/4. Plus it has a good buggy look and a body that helps seal the chassis from debri. I'm switching up to Tamiya 1/10 rally car tires to see it if it helps with the traction issues. Stock tires work well but they are small and wear very quicly.
