I run the 401 on 3 different birds. I have a Fury that is all digital and PCM, a Freya with PCM rcvr, analog servos with digital 9250 on tail and a Scaedu with PPM, analog except 9250 on tail. I have no problems with the 401. I think your problem was most likely in the receiver or antennae routing. You will love the 401. Good luck.
