Hello everyone!!!

Maybe i can get help here. I have a DL50, it is a power monster, 22x8 prop turns 7600. Its still on mineral oil 1:30. It has about 2,5 liters of fuel burnt. I find one annoying thing. Midrange. The low midrange, lets say. It fourstrokes, splutters etc. I cant lean the LSN anymore because the idle becomes unstable and fast WOT causes choking. Is there any way to improve the low midrange in DL50?
Try putting a pressure tap on your carb vent and plumb it into your fuse. On another site Al Lewis shows a good picture of this on a thread. It might be the turbulants hitting this vent which effects the mixture. It can make it rich or lean depending if the vent is seeing a positive pressure or negative pressure with respect to "true atmospheric pressure".
FYI this mod totally made my engine run better. I highly recommend it. I probably still get drafts into my rear induction but I can't do much about that.
