RE: DL-50 engine
I don't own a DL, and I break my engines in differently than most. Adjust it on the ground for proper running, then put it in the air and go somewhat easy for the first tank or two. Then I fly it as I would any other plane I own no matter the time on it. (I usually baffle my engines real well though) I switch from Amsoil a while ago, it seemed to make much harder carbon deposits than other oils, been running Pennzoil air cooled for a while now and have been happy with it.
