Default Hook and Loop Velcro

OK, since someone else brought it up...

I just relocates the battery pack in my Ultra Sport 40+ to the fuselage, just aft of the wing saddle. Because of space limitations, I reconfigured my battery pack from flat to square. Not much room here, so I applied some "Industrial Strength" velcro to the fuse floor and to the battery pack and stuck it in. I did put a chunk of foam between the top of the battery pack and the control rod sleeves. Not alot of pressure on the sleeves of course, I just wanted something to keep the Velcro pressed together. A little dab of silicone adhesive between the battery and the foam and one were the foam sits against the control rod housings and I think I'm OK.

Will the velcro provide any sort of vibration dampening between the fuse and the battery pack? I did not have room to wrap the foam right around the battery.
