I HATTTEEEEEE pull starts. I think the fact that any RC's today come with them is a joke!! Automatic starters are where it's at. Traxxas has the best setup with the EZstart, although it adds more weight so it's no good for racing. Associated and Losi both make RC's that use a glow plug warmer and a starter gun. You can get a starter box that you set your car on top of to spin the motor and start it. If your car comes with a pull start Tiger Drive makes a starter drive unit you can put on the motor in place of the pull start to start it with a drill. As far as I can see their is absolutely NO advantage to a pull start.
