no, I never touched the needles, It ran good cold but bogged alil while getting to full rpm, and 2 times it just died almost after a few seconds at high rpm, but i chopped throttle and it didnt do it, but both times after a wild twist or snap. probbably that was a buble but the low is probably lean, seeing when i got it new it was summer when it was sent from ceremark so it makes sence, I will give it a lil more next time out. My maiden flights were great though, I love it already.
Fly it like its free....yup that is just what you are doing...a new cylinder and piston will not be free! And if you crash the airplane..thats not free. If the engine started and ran ok cold on idle, it is the Hi speed needle that needs to be richened. My advice do a _ell of a lot more reading before you run a engine again. Capt,n[X(]
