The X2 is a stonking truggy, but keep in mind that it's a new gen truggy. The Hyper ST to me still has the most buggy like steering of all of them. The new ones are a lot lighter, but then again I weighed mine against an X2 on Saturday and it was only 150 grams or so more, so not much, and this is before all my lightening mods, just with the milled chassis.

The X2 looks really fast on the track, that will be my next truggy hopefully for the Summer series next year. All the new truggies are lighter, have smaller diffs and better weight distribution. As far as reliability goes, I know that the Hyper ST is pretty bullet proof and can take a pounding of note. No news of the Hyper ST 2 yet, so unless you can wait, my choice at this point in time would be the X2 if you are planning to race and a Hyper ST if you wanna bash even though I race mine.
