I run all my engines on synthetic BelRay MC-1 with a mixing proportion of 32:1. My Zenoah marine motors get even 16:1. More oil never hurts an engine. Being too greedy does. Using synthetic does not cause carbon build up. So why not mix it more on the heavy side? My motors thank me with a longer life and better performance. That's my philosophy.
