RE: Engine trouble shooting?
Without trying to incite further arguement, your first post sort of alluded that the engine had been tuned, so I think everyone, including myself, had presumed you had worked the needles already. Had we known that they we're still in the positions they had been when the engine was shipped the first thing anyone would have told you was that you needed to tune the engine. Rather than write the same instructions 1,000 times we likely would have noted that you could do an RCU search on engine tuning. Something that supports that even more is that you have made numerous posts in the gas engine forum already that seemed to indicate you have better than average gas engine working knowledge. Presumably you have flown glow powered engines before. Gassers tune the same way but the needles are just in a different place.
Since you have indicated that you don't have that knowledge might I suggest that you take a few moments to research the hundreds of pages of gas engine tuning that has already been written on this and other rc forums. You can also visit several sites containing information specific to engine tuning such as RCS-ZDZ engines, RCGF engines, Wild Hare RC, 3w engines, and Pe Reivers' site.
