DNU sounds and looks good, but I don't want a kit. I have many kits under my belt and want to try scratch built from just plans.

I want it converted to electric with possibly a Eflite 400 brushless motor. But this needs a ESC and wire connecting.
I prefer to use the 550 brushed motor I have (the motor from a Vista EP sailplane) because it already has the ESC connected and its ready to use.

Can the 550 motor be used on the DNU? It has a 8x4 folding prop and I don't know how to change it if I had to, so I would like to use it just as it is.
