I recently ran an almost new OS .40 LA on my test stand with 15% WC and an APC 10x4 with the baffle removed from the engine I could only get 12.8 k RPM. Next i copied my Magic program into another plane program and programmed the setup so I only got 12.8k rpm on my engine. I was very disappointed. It had no verticle and it would barely hold a hover. I realize that it may pick up some more RPM with running but for now I can't recomend an OS 40 LA on this set up unless they put a tuned exhaust on the plane. Nelson makes one as well as I think some one else. Save your money and by a more powerful engine.

My normal setup is with a Webra .32, Webra short pipe from a .40, APC 10x4 at 15.8 k RPM.

Letting my webra turn up is awsome the plane will go straight up doing rolls until out of sight.
