A Big Thanks to Bob'SKYDOG' for taking the time to take the video and edit it, just to share it with us.

Check out his cool website at www.skydog.ca

A Really Great guy who used to fly 100+mph C/L Combat back in the 60/70s... (I'm spending the $10 for my Club to show the full video on this winter's video night meeting ! )

Anyone doubting the Durability/Fly-Ability of coro...

Nudge,Nudge, Wink,Wink... Say No More ! ! !

Due to the weather/pit conditions, instead of usual Rounds/Heats, we opted for a WW1 'Free for All/All Out', 2 hour Session.
We had no frequency conflicts.
Planes took off from the plowed section to the right of the Flightline.
Landings 'plonked' into the snow to the left, and could be easily retrieved/refueled/re-streamered.
The Combat Box was well out. (The camera shots make it look closer sometimes)
As needed, every 20-30minutes or so, we would all land to get the planes that went down int the Combat Box area.

Needless to say, it was a complete Laugh.
We only stopped because the hot chili lunch was ready and our Rx batteries were getting low in the cold.

And our fingers were 'warmed up' enough to get the WW2s fired up to start 6 Rounds at 1:00PM.

For WW2 Rounds we opted for no 'start on time' pts. The snow made the pits a bit crowded and we did not want anyone rushing...
Planes that took off earlier just flew around at half-throttle, till most/all planes that heat were in the air. Worked out Great.

The 5th Round was frigging awesome. Last 8 planes up, really cool 'nibbling' cuts, engines really honking/dialed in... everyone 'in the groove' keeping/cutting streamer pts...

I called 'End Combat' after 5minutes.

Every Pilot complained, so we started the 6th Round without ending the fifth... Too Cool ! ! !

Last planes landed 15 min after the start of the 5th Round. Both with partial streamers.... Increadable Flying! ! !

Biggest pain of the day was picking out snow/ice from the engines after landing in the fluffy snow.
No big deal.

Because it was Too much Fun.

Actually, the most fun you can have with a model airplane... HeHeHe

Take care,
Have fun,
