Default RE: Installing BVM Tires

Buy the BVM tool or make one. Get an old plastic spinner as close to the diameter of the rim as poss. Put a piece of the proper size dowel in it for the axel. Fill the spinner with epoxy and hold the dowel till it is straight. ( I actually were making these long before BVM so its not a rip off) Now get a piece of plywood and cut a hole in it slightly bigger than the rim. Make the plywood about 18 inches by 6 or so. Boil the new tire, Place the spinner on in the rim on a hard surface, lube it with windex then place the tire on the spinner, put the wood tool over the tire and press down-it will pop right on. Melt the bolt holes with a "T" pin. I have it down where I can do one tire in about 5 mins. Scott
