I have just received a cmpro lancair. I am considering modifying it to have retracts. Has anyone tried this? Was it successful? Looking at the fuselage and wings I think it is do-able. The mains will have to be moved aft to avoid the main joining tube(The current fixed mains mount just rear of the main joining tube).
