I promptly get shut down when I recommend using an oil OTHER than amsoil, though it has been tested to produce more unwanted carbon deposits than other suitable oils, synthetic or not, and of course there's the matter of protection....no comment there. The debate will always be here I'm afraid, though the testing results have been made readily available and pointed out for all to review here. Too many of the right names, followed the advice of someone with the right status, and so the Amsoil snowball goes.
