You'd be surprised at how much space you need even for smaller slow planes (especially if you are a beginner). The easiest soluction is to find a local school that has a soccer field.....You will be much happer if you do find a club that is near you. Not only will they help to answer your questions, but flying with others is Sooo much more fun than flying by yourself
