I've been looking for someone who's actually built and flown the Filp to ask about CG. I'm building one now, but read a review in RC Excellence that said there is a problem with the CG due to the servos being mounted toward the rear. It seems a bit odd to me, but the reviewer had to put 8 ounces (1/2 pound) of lead on the firewall to get it to balance to spec. He had an OS 52 Surpass and said it flew OK, but did not have enough vertical. He took it back to his shop and remounted the rudder and elevator servos near the throttle servo (which he says weigh 3 ounces for both) inside the cabin.

Can you tell me what servos you're using for the elevator and rudder and whether you had to add any weight to get the plane to balance? Maybe not considering you're using an OS 70 which is heavier than a 52...

I was planning on taking the OS50SX I have on my Magic and using it for the Flip.
