Hmm...you say trainer type but aerobatic, box fuse, high wing, easily modded during build, non-scale, flaps, tail dragger....sounds like one of the many "Stick" varieties are in order! Seriously though, do a search for the "stick" planes and I'm sure you'll be satisfied.
