Here's your kit

It'll do good pattern as shown on the plans but it takes a 60 and it has a simi-symmetrical airfoil
It is the same plane as as the RCM Advanced Trainer and the old style Tower Trainer 60
You can shorten the wing a bay to get a faster roll rate.
Easily made in to a tail dragger

Hmm...you say trainer type but aerobatic, box fuse, high wing, easily modded during build, non-scale, flaps, tail dragger....sounds like one of the many "Stick" varieties are in order! Seriously though, do a search for the "stick" planes and I'm sure you'll be satisfied.

A clipped wing cub would be a great start but for the wingspan you're shooting for your engine sizes probably won't cut it. Anybody?

I don't know about a kit. But check out Hanger 9 Twist series. I'v had 2 of them (40size) You can go totally 3-D, they also, you can fly it like a trainer. They will land as easy as any trainer I've ever flown. Last time I checked, the ARF was $120. Just another option for you. Good luck !!

You just described A stick like R2 said. There are tons of sticks or stick types out there in all sizes in both kit and ARF form. There is one that a club member just built this year called the PERFECTION made by B&P 254-622-5587 with a 64 inch wing and uses anything from a .40 to a .61 engine, from what he said it was a nice build and from what I saw it is a great stunt plane. It looks like a stick but with a different air foil. I think it would be something you may like? Any of the fun fly type of planes may work for you too but they aren't high wings, look in Tower for the Up-Roar and Dazzler or Fun 51. Very easy builds and they get with the program, very slow landings and easy to fly, lend themselves to kit bashing very well too.

stick planes are nice and all but there way out there i was thinking something know one could think of doing airobatics like i did it witha an eagle once. ive had the chance to fly arfs alot but i just dont like the thought of if it breaks your screwed as to what matterial to use when fixing it and beleave me i fix alot. my old army style eagle 2 trainer has been threw it all but since i built it i can fix it no problem and she still flies great. would anyone say that the kadet senior or seniorita could be modified eathere slightly or highly to do airobatics. im willing to do major mods to make it includeing new wings, or tail arangment, and mabie even structural streght changes.

Then pull up the Model Airplane News plans and take a look. RCM plans are still a going operation too plus the AMA plans section. Hundred of planes that are stunters that no one at your fields have ever seen. All they are is a build your own kit and assemble, why fool around bashing a kit??
