You just described A stick like R2 said. There are tons of sticks or stick types out there in all sizes in both kit and ARF form. There is one that a club member just built this year called the PERFECTION made by B&P 254-622-5587 with a 64 inch wing and uses anything from a .40 to a .61 engine, from what he said it was a nice build and from what I saw it is a great stunt plane. It looks like a stick but with a different air foil. I think it would be something you may like? Any of the fun fly type of planes may work for you too but they aren't high wings, look in Tower for the Up-Roar and Dazzler or Fun 51. Very easy builds and they get with the program, very slow landings and easy to fly, lend themselves to kit bashing very well too.
