I'm also currently using the Kavan pump, so far without leaks. I have seen these pumps leak after extended use in some cases though, so if you use one just make sure that you orient it in such a way that any leaks drip away from the electric motor.

If & when this one gives up the ghost, I will probably replace it by the style that's used on ther Jersey Modeler can - I believe that's a Jetronics pump.
