My .45 was the best running engine I've ever had... at wide open throttle. It never ran right at lower RPM's though no matter what I did with it. I think it was just the nature of the carb like you say.

I know some people have had great luck but I haven't.

Regardless, if someone gets one and they feel it works well for them then it was a good choice. Just not my first choice.
