RE: Dave Patrick models sold to Cermark
Just to help clarify the DPM matter. DPM does not have the molds in their possession. That is one of the major problem that we have had. If we had them, then it would not be a problem. Even to this day, I don't not have news of the previous mold condition.
Now as to the prototype, it always is a working progress. In this type of airplane, we feel that the details are key to DPM success. Unfortunately it is also the downfall. The cost to ensure that the details are met with precision and consistency cost money. Our spitfire (also under TopGun brand) underwent 7 prototypes revisions before approval. It drove the builders, foreman, management, designers, testors, and investors BONKERS. Of course there are others that undergone less. When we do this, we also help the manufacturer improve their building skills and their assembly line expectation. It can be a win-win only if it is what their management is after for their investors.
I gave up holding my breath on these projects. They can make you make your day or kill your year... Just got to grind it out to see what is really there.
Peace,
Steven Chao,
