great plane then rcfan!
Didn't have anything against aeroworks except for the price and weight. I have the .46-.60 edge 540 and it's flies beautifully...
On sale after you bought it huh? Bummer...
Check out tom of valleyviewrc, that's where I got mine and he's got great combos too.
So, you've been itching to maiden your baby, hang in there...move to a warmer state maybe? LOL.
Hey, do you have any pix/instruction on your smoke system? Curious and totally no idea...
It's a little too late to check out Tom @ Valleyviewrc for me.
Moving has crossed my mind more than once lately.
Sorry no pics of the smoke setup. It's very straight forward though. Set up just like another gas tank really except it pumps the smoke to the muffler instead of carb.

As far as weight goes, this is actually a pretty light plane for its size. With the smoke system, redundancy on receiver batteries and switches, no lipo batteries... it came in at 14.5lb dry (add another 26oz of fluid for flying weight). The DL 50 will pull this thing around with authority! I weighed it w/o all the extra crap during build and it was 13lb 10oz. Either way, the DL will do an excellent job out of making this thing a 3D machine.

Here's the only picture I've got of it w/o its canapy on.
