I have a partly completed Kadet Sr. with the wing built and covered with Koverall and sealed with 3 coats of nitrate dope. It is full span (78in), built flat with ailerons and the slant tips as shown on the Kadet plans. I am thinking of clipping the tips and one bay off each end to kill some of the floatiness of the design. I want to end up with a sorta scale Taylorcraft that still functions as a docile trainer. If I clip it, then I can also put rounded tips on, close to the Taylorcraft arrangement. Power will be an ST46, flying field elevation is over 3500ft.

Any reason to not do it?
