I usually fly the 'Cap' (approx 100hrs) but had a go with the 'Giles' earlier. Positive snaps could be quicker, plenty of throws so may benefit from a CG change.

I haven't tried the new '3W Extra'. might have to get the expansion pack sometime.

The 'Cap' does nice quick negative snaps (I usually fly on 70% rates for turnaround practice rather than 3D) but positive snaps require care, it flicks very very quickly but you end up bleeding all the speed off and the result is the aircraft pitched up vertically and stationary. Probably too much throw as if I'm gentle I can get a good couple of clean consecutive snaps.

They all require aileron assistance but then so do most models I've flown. Never tried a 40% TOC machine though.
