Default RE: FLYSWALLOW

hi all
i was given one of the flyswallow 46 for xmas.
finished it, balanced it where it says in the manual (16.5 inches from the leading edge of the wing)
im using an asp 52 engine and the amount of lead i had to put in the tail seems excessive.

test flew it , takes off then dives to the ground the engine stops then the planes bounces back up into the air lands on the ground again doing a kartwheel fit for the olympics lol.
after repairs ive just tried it again took off nice with a bit of up , flew for about 20 feet then dived to the ground, not sure if i released the elevator abit before it dives to the ground.

question is where are you setting the C of G and do you have to add some up elevator to make it fly straight.

cheers kevin
