That plane with the scale wing with the spoilers , I saw Lewis Patton fly it at Superman Jet rally, and it was a Century Jet F4, but it was a ducted fan.

It was also a very simple setup in such that the spoilers were activated by servos directly below the spoilers. The servo horn rotated up to raise the spoilers and they were spring loaded for the down position.
