Not sure which lainer kit your talking about, but my first profile was a Lanier ProCub. It was a great airplane but not really made for 3D. As for cost you say the Lanier was $75, the OMP Edge is $89. I think the extra $14 is well worth the money if you are looking for a 3D airplane. Now, if your comparing the cost of a Lanier kit vs an OMP ARF well thats just stupid.I first started learning 3D on a H9 Ultrastick, it can be done but much better if you have a airplane designed for 3D.
