Well Fellas,

I have the pink 540 edge from giantscale. If the blue one is anything like the pink 540, I say stay away it's not woth the money.

I bought mine when it cost 500.00 and now it has been greatly reduce.

this is why I'm against it.

mine us setup with a Brison 3.2 and a 22x8 prop for those wondering.

This plane has a very high wing load of 44 ozs and it only weighs 15lbs.

It flys vey heavy and needs a good amount of engine to land.

You have to be careful how you pick up,as it is built with stringers along the bottom of fuse. (of which I had to upgade them to make them stronger.)

if you look good at it the cowl is shaped more like a Extra 300 than a Edge 540.

Also the top fuse hatch has a very small lip to which you fasten it with screws, problem is that my screws either backed out or ripped out with the hatch in flight no less.

it's bad when you buy this type of plane to fly 3-d and even with a good engine it fly's too heavy.


Maybe you should look to Hanger nine's 540?

I did and I just love it it does it all and out flies gs540 hands down.

My H9 has Saito 180 and weighs only 11.5lbs it hangs with less than half throttle and floats in great it also is very great at slow speed.
