Default Sebart Katana 30E too much built in Right Thrust?

I just finished this plane and first flight was yesterday. It would not fly straight it was crabbing to the right, and when I finally got it all trimmed out , the rudder was around 5/16" to the left. but that's what it took for it to fly straight. It seems to me that there's way too much built in right thrust in the firewall just over 3/16". Any ideas on this? Should I try to shim out some of the thrust?
