thanks, I don't have a problem joining the sheets, it's the gluing them down to the structure I'm worried about.
Another method that I use to glue the sheeting down is to use Elmers wood glue on the wing ribs and tack glue the sheeting at the T/E with CA glue then pull the sheeting down over the ribs towards the L/E and tack glue the sheeting at the L/E with CA. This will help hold the sheeting down against the ribs while the Elmers dries and you have plenty of time to work with the sheeting rather than using CA across the entire bonding surface. You get the best of both worlds with this method and I find myself using it more and more. You can add weight to help hold the sheeting down to the wing but you have to be careful not to warp the wing with the weight or the game is over.
