I wouldn't buy anything less than a DX7, get an x9303 or a Futaba 10c if you can spring the cash.

For servos I'd use Futaba 9452's on the cyclic and a 611/9256 combo for the tail

Not sure about batteries, I don't fly anything that big but Outrage and SMC are both good packs.
