Default moving to electrics

hi, i fly 40-60 size airplanes for years now but i wanted to get into electric but everything seems so confusing
i was thinking of buying something like herr's pitts special or P51 mustang... or any other 1/2A kit.
at first i was thinking of putting a standard gas engine on it like the ap 0.9 hornet.. but now i'm considering to get myself electric equipment..
i don't even have micro servos yet
so i need everything.. micro servos micro reciever battery and everything
and ofcourse motor ESC etc...
i was wondering what gear do you recommend for me?
i was looking at the electrifly brushless power systems.. especially at the E-performance system... which is rather expensive..
i don't even know which is better for me.. brushed or brushless...
anyhow i was wondering if this power system is good for my needs.. and about the radio gear... should i put more money and buy the expensive futaba receiver and servos or the great planes radio equipment should to the trick just fine?
what about the battery? is the battery used for the esc and motor also used for the rest of the servos? or do i need another battery?
i want the radio equipment that i choose to support both the electric gear and also a gas engine like the ap hornet?
i know its alot of question... but i'm very confused so i would really appreciate your help on this..
thanks in advance
amit
