RE: Modeltech Super Cub
I too have been searching for a post or something on this plane. I've had it for a few weeks and it is on the table now. I wanted mine for slow lazy flying. Lots of flap down touch and goes. I am using an E-Flight Power 46 and 4cell 3200 lipo. I have tested this with a Master Airscrew simitar 13x6. It turns at 9500rpm drawing only 38 amps max. This is about what my saito 72 turns with the same prop so it should be fine for what I want. I have the recommended 13x8E on order to try out. I hope more people join in I would like to hear more about other experiences with this plane. The only hit I see for electric flight is the wing has to come off to change the battery. A hatch of some kind would have been nice but I'm ok with it anyway. Happy flying.
